Speaker calls the youth to follow the life of Dr. Wazed Miah
Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, the Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad urged the youth to follow the life of nuclear scientist Dr. MA Wazed Miah.
On the occasion of the 14th death anniversary of MA Wazed Miah on Tuesday (9th May 2023), she made this call by participating virtually in the discussion meeting and Dua Mahfil organized by the Pirganj upazila administration of Rangpur, her electoral constituency.
At this time, the speaker said that Dr. MA Wazed Miah made an important contribution to the development of Bangladesh as a scientist. So, the young generation should following the life and philosophy of Dr. Wazed.
Dr. Shirin Sharmin also said, Dr. MA Wazed Miah has been appreciated at national and international level due to his merit. Wazed Miah was humble and modest, in a word a remarkable personality. Also a person to be followed.
